WHAT IS SELF LOVE?

It means very simply taking care of your 'self'! It is taking care of yourself so that you feel balanced and fulfilled from within, without needing love from others.





Self-love is treating yourself similar to the way you treat someone else you love. The relationships in your life, the most important relationship of all is the one which we have with ourselves. All other relationships come and go, even marriages that last until death do us apart in the end and the person you are with forever is only you. Your relationship with you is a tunnel, So what is this relationship like?

 Do you wake up in the morning glad to find yourself alive? Are you the person you like to be with? Do you laugh with yourself? Do you enjoy your own thoughts? Do you love your body? If you don't have a good relationship with yourself how can you have good one with someone else? If you don't love yourself you will always be looking to someone to complete you to make you happy to fulfil your dreams.




                                

                                             WAYS TO PRACTICE SELF LOVE   

 Create personal policies:~ Personal policies make it easy if you say no to the stuff  you don't want to do, which is a huge part of a self love. Start writing out lists about  the ways you spend your time, things that you do that you don't enjoy doing, things that you spend too much time thinking about. Significant things in your life that maybe you are confused about how they got significant. Start creating your own list of personal policies.                  

 Meditate to self love :~ Study shows that compassion meditation changes the brain. Studies says that the people should do 30 minutes of meditation 6days a week for a three months, who wants to improve their attention, compassion or cognitive skills. If you meditate on something specific like self compassion or loving kindness, you can actually change the parts of your brain that are associated with those things.

Create a list about yourself :~ keep a big list an put it on your mirror or somewhere else where you can visually see it regularly. Every single day are going to have a big impact on your life and if you saying a big list of things you love about yourself, great things about yourself, it is going to change the way you live your life. Its going to have some kind of positive underline impact on yourself.

  List your wins:~ Pointing out all the great things that you did in a day, all the         things  that you accomplished is the way to remind your brain all the good stuff     that you are doing everyday. Concentrate on the positive things you are doing. This is a good practice for those who might have negative self talk about not getting enough done and get accomplish enough with your days.

Plan self care days:~ Self care days are the days when you totally focus on selfcare, you might decide to spend a day in a park, generally in reading books, buy your favourite clothes, rather than putting a pressure on yourself to get things done. just taking care of your mind. 

A big part of self love is dedicating time to spend on yourself!
